So I am mad I didnt blog about this right away like I was going to after my bible study last time...it was such a good session by Beth Moore and was fresh in my mind. I am sure there will be more and more I will blog about...anyways...
Last time she was talking about having a daily relationship with Jesus . Back up. She was talking about the people in the wilderness getting the manna but they had to get it fresh DAILY....we want to store up everything on Sunday at church....but we will never live the healthy lives God wants us to live if we dont spend time with him daily and want to walk closely with Him....she said that it was like God was saying "All I am asking you to do is go gather the manna." ...spend time with Him...and then she said "our objecions to God's daily approach are rooted in pride and fear" and says we are scared He will not come through for us..which is so true if we think about it..when we worry... but its God's invitiation to faith....and then she concluded with Lamentations 3:19-24"Because of the Lord's great love we are not consumed for his compassions never fail. They are new every morning" AMEN!
Now, if I can take that seriously everyday...I do have daily devotions but admittedly sometimes I just read through it not really thinking about it...but I should be spending some quality time with God everyday.
God is good! He is faithful!
